HYDRO JETTING IN PLACENTIA

Placentia Hydro Jetting Services Near Me

For Placentia homes and businesses, hydro jetting is the most thorough way to clear a sewer lateral: water under high pressure strips roots, grease and scale off the pipe wall along its whole length. We look at the line with a camera first and again afterward, so the result is on video, not just a promise.

A 100-year-old city with an aging sewer

Placentia marks its 100th birthday on December 2, 2026. Its 500 residents voted to incorporate on that date in 1926. For decades it stayed small, with about 5,000 people in 1960, then grew to nearly 25,000 by 1970. A fivefold jump like that means a lot of Placentia’s houses went up in the 1960s.

The city is blunt about its public pipes. In its own sewer fee FAQ, Placentia says the system is between 50 and 100 years old and has damage that routine maintenance cannot keep up with. The city flushes the whole 84-mile system every year and uses closed-circuit cameras to find damaged sections, and the wastewater moves into Orange County Sanitation District trunk lines through 35 connections for treatment.

Private laterals are usually the same age as the houses they serve. On a home from the 1960s that often means clay or cast iron, both of which catch roots and grease more readily than modern plastic.

The street trees stay

Placentia has more than 7,000 city trees along its streets and in its parks. Since 2020, the Urban Forest Protection Ordinance has required city review and approval before any city tree is removed. Cutting down the parkway tree is not a quick fix, so root control happens inside the pipe. Jetting clears the roots, and a camera check shows whether a joint is open wide enough to need trenchless lining to keep them out.

Old Town and the rest of the map

Old Town sits in the south and west of the city, north of the BNSF tracks: a mixed-use district of 33 acres and 147 parcels, ringed by houses. Bradford and Melrose avenues are named for the men who laid out the town after the Santa Fe Railroad arrived in 1910. We also work in Atwood, La Jolla and the tract neighborhoods that filled in during the 1960s. Oil was struck in Placentia in 1919, and wells went up across the east and north sides of town.

Who supplies what

Golden State Water Company serves most Placentia homes, and has since 1929. Yorba Linda Water District, headquartered on Miraloma Avenue, serves a smaller part of the city. Report a meter or street leak to whichever company bills you. Most public sewer mains are run by the city’s Public Works Department. For plumbing permits, the Building and Safety Division is at City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Avenue.

What we do when we get there

First the camera, so we know where the stoppage is and what shape the pipe is in. A collapsed or badly broken section gets a repair quote instead of jetting, because pressure will not fix a pipe that has lost its shape. If the line can take it, we jet it from a clean-out and record it a second time. Want to know how often to repeat it? Read how often you should hydro jet your sewer line.

Current special: $299 hydro jetting, from a clean-out (terms apply; up to 75 ft with proper access). See the coupons page for details. All Service Plumbing picks up at (888) 300-9648 around the clock.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Andy is our go-to plumber. He always does an excellent job and his prices are very good. Today I gave him too much money and he counted it and handed back the overpayment. I highly recommend him.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hello everyone! I'm here to let you know that if you're in need of a plumber then I recommend Rooter flusher and drains 👍 My kitchen sink got clogged Saturday night due to buildup. Unfortunately Sunday morning the sinks were still filled up with nasty water and the smell of sewer started to come up 😭 I was worried that we weren't going to find a plumber during the weekend but my husband found this company and was able to make an appointment in the afternoon with Iggy Perez. Thank God and Iggy that he was able to fix it 🙏 He did an amazing job and was super fast 👍😁 I recommend Rooter flusher plumbing & drains to everyone 👍
