Andy is our go-to plumber. He always does an excellent job and his prices are very good. Today I gave him too much money and he counted it and handed back the overpayment. I highly recommend him.

These folks handled our trenchless sewer line replacement flawlessly. No messy digging-just advanced technology that even preserved our landscaping. Plus, they’re LA city bonded sewer contractors, so we knew we were in capable hands. I highly recommend calling All Service Plumbing for all your sewer repair needs.

Hello everyone! I'm here to let you know that if you're in need of a plumber then I recommend Rooter flusher and drains 👍 My kitchen sink got clogged Saturday night due to buildup. Unfortunately Sunday morning the sinks were still filled up with nasty water and the smell of sewer started to come up 😭 I was worried that we weren't going to find a plumber during the weekend but my husband found this company and was able to make an appointment in the afternoon with Iggy Perez. Thank God and Iggy that he was able to fix it 🙏 He did an amazing job and was super fast 👍😁 I recommend Rooter flusher plumbing & drains to everyone 👍

All Service Plumbers is one of the best customer service plumbing companys in the Area. They have a great service team and all the hard work provided by their workers is amazing!! Joshua and Carlos were great!! They cleared our drain quickly and took the time to talk about what would need to be done to put in a new clean out. Joshua was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I will definitely use them in the future.

All Service Plumbing excelled in addressing issues with my outdoor sewer system. Diego's responsiveness was remarkable, as he remained on-site from the beginning to the end. He adeptly diagnosed and resolved the problem with the sewer line in my yard. I highly recommend All Service Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing or rooter repair services!

We faced a sudden leak under our kitchen sink and needed a plumber urgently. We decided to go with All Service Plumbing. Brandon arrived precisely on schedule, swiftly identified the issue, and provided an estimate not only for the leaking sink but also for a few other minor plumbing tasks we had been postponing. The very next day, Brandon returned, once again punctual. He efficiently and professionally addressed all our plumbing concerns. Our sink and the other issues have all been resolved. We now have the assurance of a trustworthy plumber who offers fair pricing and delivers exceptional service.

Santa Fe Springs Homes, Pipes and Water

All Service Plumbing has a location at 11337 Davenrich St, and Santa Fe Springs is not a typical suburb. The City’s water plan puts about 85 percent of the land in its service area under commercial and industrial use, with most homes grouped along the western side of town. Whittier borders it to the north, La Mirada to the east, Cerritos to the southeast, Norwalk to the southwest, Downey to the west and Pico Rivera to the northwest, and both Interstate 5 and Interstate 605 have exits here.

Oil came before houses. The Union-Bell well blew in as a 2,500-barrel gusher in 1921, and during the 1920s the field produced as much as 345,000 barrels a day. The city incorporated in May 1957, right in the middle of its building boom: SCAG dates 46.3 percent of the 5,514 housing units to the 1950s, close to three times the regional share, and about two thirds were built before 1970. Roughly 59 percent are single-family detached homes.

The City’s water utility serves most addresses, but several other water companies serve parts of town, so check the name on your bill. City water blends treated groundwater delivered through the City of Whittier with Metropolitan Water District supply from the Colorado River and the State Water Project. Expect hard water: the 2025 report averages 250 mg/L of total hardness for the groundwater and 230 mg/L for the imported water, roughly 13 to 15 grains per gallon. Sewers are split between owner and operator. The City owns its local mains, yet LA County Public Works maintains them through the Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District, which Santa Fe Springs joined in August 1957. That network runs 84 miles with one pump station, and the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts treat the flow at the Los Coyotes plant in Cerritos and the Long Beach plant.

Common Plumbing Calls in Santa Fe Springs

Houses of that era were usually built with galvanized steel water pipe, cast-iron drains and clay sewer laterals. Some have been repiped since and some have not. A camera run or a look under the house tells us which.

  • Scale from very hard water. Water at 230 to 250 mg/L coats tank heaters, tankless heat exchangers and faucet cartridges. Flushing a tank once a year and descaling a tankless unit on schedule helps. A heater that rumbles or runs out of hot water early is often full of sediment; see our water heater service.
  • Backups in the lateral. The City’s 2025 sewer management plan says neither the County nor the City owns any part of the service lateral, so keeping it clear falls to the property owner. Roots in clay joints and low spots that hold debris cause most backups. We camera the line, then clear it with a cable or with hydro jetting.
  • Leaks in 1950s pipe. Galvanized lines rust from the inside, and copper laid under an old slab can pinhole. A water bill that jumps or a warm patch on the floor is worth a leak detection visit.
  • Commercial kitchens and plants. About 27 percent of the city’s sewer connections are industrial. Food businesses that discharge grease need a pretreatment device under a valid Industrial Waste Disposal Permit, and new, remodeled or newly owned ones also need a Building and Safety permit.

Who to call in Santa Fe Springs

Several public agencies touch the plumbing in this city, and knowing which one owns a problem can save you a phone call.

  • Water service or billing: the agency printed on your water bill, which for most addresses is the City’s water utility.
  • A sewer main overflowing in the street: LA County Public Works, which maintains the City’s mains.
  • Permits: the Building and Safety Division at City Hall, open Monday through Thursday; City Hall closes on Fridays, and plan checks go through the City’s online portal.
  • Drains, leaks, water heaters and the line from your building to the main: our Santa Fe Springs location at (562) 275-8928, at any hour.
