Andy is our go-to plumber. He always does an excellent job and his prices are very good. Today I gave him too much money and he counted it and handed back the overpayment. I highly recommend him.Posted on Google![]()

These folks handled our trenchless sewer line replacement flawlessly. No messy digging-just advanced technology that even preserved our landscaping. Plus, they’re LA city bonded sewer contractors, so we knew we were in capable hands. I highly recommend calling All Service Plumbing for all your sewer repair needs.Posted on Google![]()

Hello everyone! I'm here to let you know that if you're in need of a plumber then I recommend Rooter flusher and drains 👍 My kitchen sink got clogged Saturday night due to buildup. Unfortunately Sunday morning the sinks were still filled up with nasty water and the smell of sewer started to come up 😭 I was worried that we weren't going to find a plumber during the weekend but my husband found this company and was able to make an appointment in the afternoon with Iggy Perez. Thank God and Iggy that he was able to fix it 🙏 He did an amazing job and was super fast 👍😁 I recommend Rooter flusher plumbing & drains to everyone 👍Posted on Google![]()

We faced a sudden leak under our kitchen sink and needed a plumber urgently. We decided to go with All Service Plumbing. Brandon arrived precisely on schedule, swiftly identified the issue, and provided an estimate not only for the leaking sink but also for a few other minor plumbing tasks we had been postponing. The very next day, Brandon returned, once again punctual. He efficiently and professionally addressed all our plumbing concerns. Our sink and the other issues have all been resolved. We now have the assurance of a trustworthy plumber who offers fair pricing and delivers exceptional service.
Los Alamitos Plumbing From Our Headquarters
All Service Plumbing is headquartered at 10621 Bloomfield St, Unit 20, so Los Alamitos is home ground for us. The city lines up along Katella Avenue, with UCI Health – Los Alamitos, the former Los Alamitos Medical Center, at 3751 Katella. Rossmoor, the walled community Ross Cortese started in 1956, sits to the southwest and is bordered by Los Alamitos on three sides. Los Alamitos Race Course carries a 90720 address but is actually across Katella in Cypress. We work on both sides of all of those lines.
Most local homes went up in a quick run after World War II. Carrier Row began with Alamos Ranchos, first occupied in April 1948, followed by Plainview Homes in 1950 and Los Alamitos Park in 1955. Dutch Haven came in 1960, Rossmoor Highlands in 1961, and Suburbia, New Dutch Haven, Greenbrook and College Park North in 1967. SCAG’s housing data agrees: 35.5 percent of units date from the 1960s, 26.9 percent from the 1970s and 13.8 percent from the 1950s. About 42 percent of units are in buildings with two or more homes, where several households often share one water service and one sewer lateral.
Golden State Water has supplied Los Alamitos from 1929 on. Its West Orange County system blends Orange County basin groundwater with imported Colorado River and State Water Project supply, and its 2026 report averages 237 mg/L of hardness, or 13.8 grains per gallon, ranging up to 21.6. Sewage leaves each property through a lateral and joins mains run by the Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Area Sewer District, formed after septic tanks failed in what was then unincorporated Los Alamitos and voters approved sewer bonds by 1952. Its 2017 sewer management plan has every district line cleaned once a year and 20 grease-prone segments every six months, and it describes house laterals as privately owned.
Los Alamitos Plumbing Services
The jobs we run most often out of the Bloomfield Street headquarters.
Retire the old septic tank and connect to the city sewer, permits handled.
Leaks, fixtures, shut-offs and tune-ups that keep the system healthy.
Trenchless technology that renews pipes without digging up the yard.
Common Problems in Los Alamitos Homes and Rentals
Pipe of that age is typically galvanized steel or early copper for water and cast iron or clay for drains, unless someone has replaced it. That shapes most of the calls below.
- Lateral backups. The district cleans the main under the street, not the pipe from your house. When the lowest drain overflows or every toilet gurgles at once, that private lateral is the usual suspect. We camera it from the clean-out, then clear roots or grease with a cable or with hydro jetting.
- One line, several units. In a duplex or fourplex a single blocked lateral can back up more than one home. Tell us how many units are affected when you call so we start at the clean-out that serves them all.
- Hard-water wear. At close to 14 grains per gallon, scale collects in tank and tankless heaters, shower valves and toilet fill valves. Flushing a tank once a year helps; when a heater is past saving, see water heater replacement.
- Leaks you cannot see. Older copper and galvanized lines under a slab can leak for months without a puddle. A rising bill, a warm spot on the floor or a meter that moves with everything off calls for leak detection.
- Backflow on irrigation and pools. Golden State Water lists irrigation systems, pools and spas, boilers and fire sprinklers as common cross-connections, which is where the yearly test requirement usually applies.
Who handles what in Los Alamitos
Three different offices touch the plumbing at a Los Alamitos address. One rule worth knowing first: Golden State Water’s 2026 report makes backflow the owner’s job, so required assemblies have to be installed, maintained and tested every year, and it advises a vacuum breaker on every hose bib.
- Water quality, meters or the pipe in the street: Golden State Water, with a local office at 10852 Cherry Street and a 24-hour line at 800-999-4033.
- An overflowing manhole or a blocked main in the street: the Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Area Sewer District.
- A permit to install or change plumbing: the Building and Safety Division of the city’s Development Services Department.
- Everything from your fixtures out to the district main: our headquarters at (562) 281-4520, or (888) 300-9648 at any hour.
