Andy is our go-to plumber. He always does an excellent job and his prices are very good. Today I gave him too much money and he counted it and handed back the overpayment. I highly recommend him.Posted on Google![]()

These folks handled our trenchless sewer line replacement flawlessly. No messy digging-just advanced technology that even preserved our landscaping. Plus, they’re LA city bonded sewer contractors, so we knew we were in capable hands. I highly recommend calling All Service Plumbing for all your sewer repair needs.Posted on Google![]()

Hello everyone! I'm here to let you know that if you're in need of a plumber then I recommend Rooter flusher and drains 👍 My kitchen sink got clogged Saturday night due to buildup. Unfortunately Sunday morning the sinks were still filled up with nasty water and the smell of sewer started to come up 😭 I was worried that we weren't going to find a plumber during the weekend but my husband found this company and was able to make an appointment in the afternoon with Iggy Perez. Thank God and Iggy that he was able to fix it 🙏 He did an amazing job and was super fast 👍😁 I recommend Rooter flusher plumbing & drains to everyone 👍Posted on Google![]()

We faced a sudden leak under our kitchen sink and needed a plumber urgently. We decided to go with All Service Plumbing. Brandon arrived precisely on schedule, swiftly identified the issue, and provided an estimate not only for the leaking sink but also for a few other minor plumbing tasks we had been postponing. The very next day, Brandon returned, once again punctual. He efficiently and professionally addressed all our plumbing concerns. Our sink and the other issues have all been resolved. We now have the assurance of a trustworthy plumber who offers fair pricing and delivers exceptional service.
Cerritos Plumbing, From Dairy Valley to Today
Our Cerritos location is at 16307 Piuma Ave, and our plumbers cover the whole city from there: the houses near Liberty Park on the west end, the blocks around Heritage Park in the center of town, the streets by Don Knabe Community Regional Park, and the areas around Los Cerritos Center, Cerritos Auto Square, the Cerritos Towne Center and the titanium-clad Cerritos Library.
The town was Dairy Valley when it incorporated in 1956, a place where cows far outnumbered people, and it took the name Cerritos in 1967. Houses arrived fast once voters allowed large-scale residential building in 1963. SCAG places 53 percent of Cerritos housing in the 1970s and 29.8 percent in the 1960s, and more than four in five units are single-family detached homes. The 2020 census counted 16,374 housing units, and roughly three quarters of occupied homes are lived in by their owners. Put simply, most houses here are about 45 to 65 years old and were built within a few years of the ones next door.
Cerritos pumps its own water. In 2025 three City wells, drilled 640 to 1,000 feet deep, supplied about 97.7 percent of the drinking water, and the other 2.3 percent was bought from the Metropolitan Water District. The City’s 2025 report averages 180 mg/L of hardness for that groundwater, hard water by the usual scale at roughly 10.5 grains per gallon. It also notes manganese above the aesthetic standard in some samples from Well C-1, which the City treats with phosphate because manganese can stain fixtures and laundry. Wastewater flows through the City’s own system of more than 100 miles of pipe and five lift stations to the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts for treatment, and the City’s 2025 rate study sets aside money for sewer main replacement and camera inspection of its pipes over the next five years.

Common Plumbing Problems in Cerritos Houses
Tract homes from that period were usually plumbed with copper or galvanized supply lines and cast-iron or clay drain and sewer pipe, with plastic drain lines in some later builds. The material decides how a clog or leak is best handled, so we look before we recommend anything.
- Main line stoppages. Sewer laterals from the late 1960s and 1970s collect roots at the joints and grease on rough cast iron. If more than one drain backs up at once, the lateral is the likely cause. We run a camera first, then clear it with the right drain cleaning method for that pipe.
- Slab leaks. Many Cerritos houses of this era sit on concrete slabs, often with copper water lines running underneath. Pinhole leaks there show up as a warm floor, a hissing sound or a bill that climbs for no reason; leak detection pinpoints the spot before anyone cuts concrete.
- Water heater sediment. Hard water leaves scale in a tank over the years. A rumbling heater or hot water that runs out early usually means it is time to flush or replace.
- Stains on fixtures. Brown or black marks on sinks, tubs or laundry can come from manganese in the water rather than your pipes. We can tell you which it is, and the Water Division handles water quality questions.
- Aging supply lines. The City’s 2024 inventory found no lead or galvanized service lines in its system, but it notes it cannot control materials inside private homes. Corroded galvanized pipe inside a house is a candidate for repiping.
Who to call in Cerritos
Cerritos runs its own water and sewer systems, so most public-side questions go to City Hall rather than an outside district.
- Water service, meters, pressure or bills: the City Water Division at (562) 407-2674 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, or (562) 860-4018 after hours, on weekends and on holidays.
- A blockage or overflow in the sewer main: the City, which owns and runs the collection system.
- Permits for new work or modifications: the Building and Safety Division of the Department of Community Development, (562) 916-1209.
- Clogs, leaks, water heaters and the sewer line on your lot: our Cerritos location at (562) 384-7100, day or night.
