DRAIN CLEANING IN ALISO VIEJO

Drain Cleaning Service Near Me

Drain cleaning in Aliso Viejo is mostly about what goes down the drain, not about worn-out pipe. The city’s homes are young, so the clogs we clear here are usually grease in a kitchen line, hair in a tub, wipes in a toilet or lint in a laundry drain. Here is how those clogs form and what we do about them.

Young houses, plastic pipe

The first Aliso Viejo homes went on sale in 1982, and the city’s General Plan counts roughly nine in ten housing units as built between 1980 and 2004. Drain lines from those years are usually ABS or PVC plastic. Plastic does not rust and holds up to roots far better than clay, but its smooth walls still collect grease, soap film and the mineral scale that hard Southern California water leaves behind. Most local clogs build over months until one more thing tips them over.

Fixture by fixture

Kitchen sink and disposal: a disposal grinds food but does nothing about grease. Fat cools in the line and holds the ground food behind it.
Bathroom sinks: hair wraps around the pop-up stopper. Pulling and cleaning the stopper fixes many of these without a machine.
Tubs and showers: hair and soap, a few feet past the drain opening.
Toilets: wipes sold as flushable, paper towels, or too much paper in one flush.
Laundry: lint from the washer, which builds up in the standpipe and the line below it.
Air conditioner condensate lines: algae and sludge can block the small line that drains the indoor coil, and the overflow may show up as a stain on a ceiling.

Attached homes

The General Plan counts about 27 percent of the city’s homes as townhouses and 37 percent as multi-family units. In those buildings a single drain can carry water from more than one unit, so the backup in your sink may start somewhere else. Have your association’s contact handy before a shared line is cleaned; our camera footage can show where the blockage actually sits.

How we clear a drain here

We start at the fixture that is giving trouble. Small clogs come out with a hand auger or a compact cable machine. If several fixtures are slow or the lowest drain in the house is backing up, we go to the main clean-out, run a camera and clear the line, using hydro jetting when grease or scale coats the walls. You see the footage before and after. Replacing pipe is less common in houses this age; when it is needed, the City’s Building and Safety Division at 12 Journey handles the plumbing permit and inspection.

Your line and the district’s line

In Aliso Viejo the water districts also run the public sewers. Moulton Niguel Water District serves most of the city, with about 500 miles of wastewater pipe and 17 lift stations that push flow uphill on its way to treatment. El Toro Water District covers a small part of Aliso Viejo. Moulton Niguel publishes a diagram showing which part of a sewer line is the customer’s and which is the district’s, and it takes emergency calls around the clock at (949) 831-2500. Sewage spilling from a manhole is a district call. Trouble that stays inside your home is a plumber’s call.

Clogs do not wait for business hours. Our emergency plumbing line is (888) 300-9648, answered 24/7, or you can send us a request for a scheduled visit.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hello everyone! I'm here to let you know that if you're in need of a plumber then I recommend Rooter flusher and drains 👍 My kitchen sink got clogged Saturday night due to buildup. Unfortunately Sunday morning the sinks were still filled up with nasty water and the smell of sewer started to come up 😭 I was worried that we weren't going to find a plumber during the weekend but my husband found this company and was able to make an appointment in the afternoon with Iggy Perez. Thank God and Iggy that he was able to fix it 🙏 He did an amazing job and was super fast 👍😁 I recommend Rooter flusher plumbing & drains to everyone 👍
